Booking & Client Policies
Please review each policy carefully before submitting your inquiry. These guidelines explain the booking process, retainers, payments, rescheduling, design expectations, and appointment requirements. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the policies outlined below.
What is your hourly rate?
My standard tattoo rate is $200 per hour. The total cost of your tattoo will depend on the size, placement, level of detail, design complexity, and the time required to complete it.
Any price or time estimate provided before your appointment is an approximation and not a guaranteed final total. Some projects may require multiple sessions to complete properly.
Payment is due at the end of each session and is cash only. Your retainer is applied toward the final session of the project.
How does the retainer/deposit work?
A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve all tattoo appointments. The retainer amount is determined by the size and scope of the project:
- $150 for small to medium tattoos
- $250 for larger tattoos
- $350 for multi-session projects
An appointment is not considered confirmed until the required retainer has been received.
The retainer will be applied to the final session of the tattoo project and is not an additional charge. It compensates for the time reserved, scheduling, consultation, preparation, and custom design work completed prior to the appointment.
Retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable. The retainer may be forfeited in the event of a cancellation, missed appointment, significant lateness, or rescheduling without sufficient notice. It may not be transferred to another person or applied to a substantially different tattoo concept.
What is your Design Process?
Custom designs are typically finalized and shown on the day of the appointment.
Minor adjustments can usually be made before tattooing begins. Major changes to the original concept, subject matter, placement, or overall direction may require the appointment to be rescheduled and a new retainer to be paid.
This policy protects the time invested in each custom design and helps prevent artwork from being copied or taken elsewhere.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Before your appointment:
- Eat a full meal.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Get adequate rest.
- Shower and wear clean, comfortable clothing.
- Wear clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area.
- Bring a valid government-issued photo ID.
- Bring the required cash payment.
Please use headphones if listening to your music or watching videos on your phone.
Do not arrive intoxicated, under the influence of recreational substances, or physically unwell. Your appointment may be canceled if it is unsafe to proceed.
Rescheduling Policy
A minimum of 72 hours notice before the scheduled appointment date is required to reschedule. When sufficient notice is provided, the retainer may be transferred to one new appointment date, after this, any new reschedules will need a new retainer/deposit.
Requests made within 72 hours of the appointment will result in the forfeiture of the retainer, and a new retainer will be required before another date can be reserved.
Repeated rescheduling may result in the project being declined.
Cancellation Policy
All retainers/deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the retainer, regardless of the reason for cancellation. The retainer cannot be transferred to another person or applied to a different tattoo project.
Clients who cancel and later wish to rebook will be required to submit a new retainer.
Late Arrival Policy
Clients are expected to arrive on time and fully prepared for their appointment.
Please contact me as soon as possible if you are running late. Late arrival may reduce the available tattoo time and could affect the amount of work completed during the session.
Significant lateness (30min+) may require the appointment to be rescheduled. If the appointment cannot reasonably proceed due to the late arrival, the retainer may be forfeited and a new retainer may be required to book another date.
No-Call/No-Show Policy
Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior communication will be considered a no-call/no-show.
The original retainer will be forfeited. To be considered for rebooking, the client must pay the full balance of the missed appointment, in addition to any new retainer required for the rescheduled date.
Payment for the missed appointment compensates for the reserved time and lost income and will not be applied toward the cost of the tattoo.
Future booking privileges following a no-call/no-show are granted at my discretion.
Can I change my tattoo idea after booking?
Small adjustments may be discussed before the appointment.
A major change in subject matter, style, size, or placement may be treated as a new project. This may require another consultation, a new appointment date, and a new retainer.
Please communicate changes as early as possible.
What medical information should I disclose?
Please let me know before your appointment if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking blood-thinning medication, using antibiotics, experiencing a skin condition near the tattoo area, or managing a medical condition that could affect healing or be transmitted via bloodborne pathogens.
What is your artwork policy?
All custom artwork remains the intellectual property of Josh Jasiah unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Designs may not be copied, reproduced, sold, tattooed by another artist, or used commercially without permission.
Photos and videos of completed work may be used for my portfolio, website, social media, advertising, and promotional materials unless privacy arrangements are discussed before the appointment.
